Been kinda busy these few days. Jayden's full mth celebration was a success. Many of my dear friends n relatives came n they brought alot of prezzies! Not for me thou =( Haha. Anyway, thanks to all my friends who came. Reali appreciate ur presence. Did not reali take photos of Jayden tt day cuz we were too busy entertaining n we have to rush to both sides.

We opened an account for Jayden n put all his red packet money into d acc. He is now richer than me! =((( LOL. Hubby also bought a plan for Jayden for his future. In 15 years time, he will be a rich boy! Haha. It's for his education la actually.

Hubby n i are planning for a trip to Taiwan. We went to JP to get our info n its a 7 days trip. But now d thing is whether we wan to go in Sept or Dec. There are simply too many factors to consider. But most prob we will choose to go in Sept, juz b4 i go back to work.

Also, we are balloting a flat near my mum's place. d results will come out in Sept. I reali hope we can get it. It's a 5-rm flat n its near d Jurong West Swimming Complex n there will be a Pioneer MRT station near there too. Most imptly, it's near my mum's place. Cuz my mum will b takin care of Jayden for me whn i go back to work so it will be more convenient for me.

Alright, gotta go down to JP again to settle Jayden's baby bonus. Supposed to meet the girls for seafood feast today but John's sick so we postphone it. Later shall go buy crabs to satisfy my cravings for seafood! Shall update again! Tata.

Shopping!

I'm gg shopping today!!!! WEEEEEE... simply cant hide my excitement. It's been like donkey months since i step into Orchard. LOL. Whn i was preg, i was always stuck in Jurong Point, simply becuz i get tired very easily whn i go town n i cant walk too much.

Yest went to JP (again) wif hubby. Got lots of stuff. Bought diapers, a portable diaper changing mat for Jayden, baby nail clipper (his nails is getting very long!)Damage:$50plus. Went to get my stuff after tt. Bought my all time fav perfume, Ralph Lauren(blue). Bought one for hubby's sis also for her bday. Also bought a mascara. Damage: $151. Went to get Jayden's 1st mth cake vouchers. Damage: $110.

Today i wana go shop for CLOTHES CLOTHES CLOTHES!!! =) Hope i will find wad i like. hohohoho.. shopping!!!!

By d way, Jayden's has developed tears. LOL. He's getting naughtier also. Wan ppl to carry all d time. -_-'' And, he is like always finding food. Mum says tt she tinks Jayden will need a pacifier. Gosh. Hope not. But yest, we experiment on Jayden n he reali suck d pacifier like nobody's business. -_-'' Den we faster took it out. LOL. Hais. Hope he does not need d pacifier cuz dunwan him 2 rely. His first mth is comin soon! Can't wait to see all my dear friends. keke.

Transformers

I went to watch Transformers on Saturday. (Yesh, i'm still in confinement) But... WHO CARES. LOL. I reali wanted so badly to watch tt movie since i heard SOOOOO many ppl talkin abt how great it was. Hur.. so i beg hubby to bring me to go watch. Well, not actually beg la, i juz "tempt" him to go. LOL. Cuz he wanted to watch also. My mum was cool wif it thou she still says, "U in confinement leh! Later at JP ppl sees u there den they will say u how?" Well, seriously, I DON"T CARE. Haha. All along i dun care wad others say cuz its my life. Also, i ate Macdonalds' burger! Hohoho. Mum says its okay to eat those wif beef cuz beef is suppose to be good for me. but i cant eat those wif fish n chicken meat. But it's ok as long as i get my beef n satisfy my cravins. =)

Anyways, back to d movie. d movie was FANTASTIC!!! Thou d names still confused me a little bit but d effect was wooooooo.... 9/10! Haha. Well, in d future if i get any of those "confinement" sickeness or wadsoever, i will NOT regret. Its worth d "sacrifice" (thou i still hope i will not get any of those)

Alright. For those who havent watch, u shd go n watch.. like NOW! My bro went town to watch but in d end, FULL HOUSE. LOL. I came back n kept talkin abt it. keke.

Universal Baby Language

I just watched Oprah Winfrey Show on SCV Channel 17 n i saw this amazing thing which i had to share wif all mummies or mummies-to-be immed! There's this woman who has this amazin ability to identify babies cries. And according to her, ALL babies cries are d same regardless of race or colour. And i tested it on Jayden (juz nice he wanted to eat u see) n i heard his cries and its wad exactly d lady on d show teaches.

According to her..

[NEH] means Hungry

[OWH] means Sleepy

[HEH] means Discomfort

[EAIR] means Lower Gas or Poo

[EH] means "I need a burp!"

LOL. I tested on Jayden n i heard [NEH] which means he's hungry n he reali is. And also, i heard in his cries, there is [EAIR] which means there is gas so i rub his back and awhile later i heard him passing out gas! :))) Amazing! LOL.

Neh="I'm hungry"
Owh="I'm sleepy"
Heh="I'm experiencing discomfort"
Eair="I have lower gas"
Eh="I need to burp"
Those "words" are actually sound reflexes, Priscilla says. "Babies all around the world have the same reflexes, and they therefore make the same sounds," she says. If parents don't respond to those reflexes, Priscilla says the baby will eventually stop using them.

Priscilla recommends that parents listen for those words in a baby's pre-cry before they start crying hysterically. She says there is no one sound that's harder to hear than others because it varies by individual. She also says some babies use some words more than others.

Well, i shall do some more "experiments" on Jayden and see whether it's reali wad she says. LOL.

Well, one mth is not very long for alot of ppl, but for me.. i guess it's d LONGEST MTH of my life. Now, i've to wake up every 2 hrs in d middle of d nite. Luckily, my parents r there to help me if not, i tink i will have sunk into depression. Hubby haf to go back to work and so, my mum slps wif me n Jayden n whenever Jayden's awake, my mum will be awake. Yest nite was a torture. Jayden was awake from 1am ALL d way till 4am. We fed him like 2-3 times already but still, his big eyes was still staring at us. UNTIL, my dad came back n he carried Jayden out of my room n ask us to go to slp while he takes care. I slept like a pig after tt. Woke up whn hubby called cuz he was gg to work n i went to check on Jayden. He was slping soundly beside my dad on d bed. -_-'' Dad said he talked to Jayden n he was smiling n smiling n after a while, he fell asleep. -_-'' Reali speechless. Mum said tt he may have got a shock whn we brought him back to my mum-in-law place cuz need to offer prayers or something. I reali dunno wad happen last nite n i hope tonight it wun be d same. =X

i do appreciate everything my parents does for me. My mum-in-law too but sometimes, i reali feel like crying cuz i've to face d same food on d table EVERYDAY. d fact tt i cant have WIND blowin on me also pisses me. I'm reali so bloody hot n yet... but luckily, my mum allows.. onli if d fan is not blowing DIRECTLY towards me. Hais. WHY must confinement be like this? Shouldn't it be at my own comfort since i've gone thru d pain of delivering? WHY do i've to suffer another mth. -_-'' I don't think other races will haf so many rules n regulations den Chinese. and yet, i don't see them havin probs later on in their life. Duhz. Those old grandmother tales ought to be eliminated cuz it;s kinda stupid n some reali don't make sense. For example, NOT SUPPOSE TO BATHE. Cmon, if you're breastfeeding ur baby, n u DON'T BATHE, d result will be.. baby havin to suck at ur dirty breasts which in d end, he/she eating up d bacteria n germs with breast milk. Yucky rite? It's common sense la. Maybe ppl in d past they don;t breastfeed their babies n tts y they don't mind stinking themselves to death. Also, ppl in d past haf to boil water in order to get hot water n it's so troublesome tt in d end they say, "HAIYA! So ma fan, might as well don't bathe!" But hey, nw things r diff. HELLO? We haf water heaters. My mum agrees wif me on tis pt. She do let me bath but i haf to be speedy fast. One last thing, bathin wif ginger=EEKS. Who wans to smells like a walking ginger. I reali dunwan my baby to tink: "eeeeeee.. mummy smells like ginger" -_-'' All these confinement tales r reali so damn old fashioned. even d docs n nurses now in d hospitals, they WAN u to bathe cuz of personal hygiene n they even say, "Confinement shd be a happy moment, cuz if u're happy, u will feel happy to take care of ur baby" True? I tink its true. If u're feeling dirty n hot n sweaty, u will feel frustrated n thus, led to venting frustration on d wrong person, ur baby. Those professionals also says, "You can eat WADEVER u like!" but i dun tink i'm now. My mum is reali tryin her best to make me happy cuz she buys me beef, tries to make d food tastes nicer etc. I reali love her for tt but still, maybe sm know why, she has to follow d "law" , d confinement "law"

i tink i complained too much. But lettin it off makes me feel better. i shall post Jayden's pics soon. i got d cable already so pls wait. :))))
